Course Selection Dates (2024-2025)

  • All times are Eastern Standard Time and are subject to change.
  • Due to the high volume of activity, the server may be slow on some dates. Please be patient.
  • This is NOT a first-come first-served course selection process.

Course selection opens in Course Match (Cognomos).

 Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 12:30 pm

Deadline for final submission of pre-allocation course selection (no exceptions)

Students who do not meet this deadline will:

  • be excluded from the first allocation,
  • forfeit their preferences in the initial round, 
  • select courses after course selection re-opens, and as courses become available through the add/drop process.

 Allocation results posted. Waitlists established from initial allocation results posted.

Untimed Add/drop request period opens.  Students will have several days to make requests for empty seats in classrooms and add their names to waitlists.

Accumulated add/drop requests processed.  First come/first served add/drop opens. 

Note: Once waitlists are established, students may add and drop courses until the end of the add/drop period in the relevant term (see below).

September 11, 2024 10:00 a.m.Directed Research proposals and Supervised Upper Year Research Paper proposals (first term/full year projects) due in Records Office.
September 18, 2024, 10:00 a.m.Add/Drop deadline:  first term and full year courses.
December 18, 2023, 10:00 a.m.First term deadline for all written work.

Second Term (Winter, 2025)

January 17, 2025, 5:00 p.m.

Directed Research proposals, Supervised Upper Year Research Paper proposals (second term projects), and Competitive Mooting Graded Credit Request forms due in Records Office.

January 22, 2025, 10:00 a.m.Add/Drop deadline for second term courses
April 28, 2025, 10:00 a.m.Second term deadline for all written work.
